Delete Account

  • To request that your Thryve account and all personal data be deleted, please:

    1. Email us at support@thethryveapp.com with the subject line:

      Request Account Deletion – Thryve [Your Phone Number]

    2. In the body of the email, include:

      • Your registered phone number or Thryve username/email

      • A brief confirmation that you want your entire account permanently removed

      • (Optional) Any additional details to help us verify your identity

    Once we receive your email, we will:

    • Send you a confirmation message (to ensure it really was you)

    • Process your request within 7 business days

  • When you submit a valid deletion request, we will erase the following:

    • Profile Information (name, age, gender, bio, “What brings you here?” answers, attachment style, care style, affection preferences, deal-breakers, etc.)

    • Uploaded Photos (all images in your profile gallery and any sent/received in chats)

    • Chat History (including any exchanged messages, “First Sip Mode” exchanges, and media attachments)

    • ThoughtBeans & Reactions (all posts, comments, likes/dislikes associated with your account)

    • Match & Usage Data (records of your matches, swipe history, match-score details, ghosting reports, respect-score metrics, etc.)

    • Account Credentials & Authentication Records (phone authentication tokens, OAuth identifiers, and any tokens/keys used by Supabase)

    Once deletion is complete, your Thryve account will no longer appear in any search results or “FlickScreen” queues.

  • In order to comply with legal, security, or operational requirements, Thryve may retain certain information — but only in an anonymized or aggregated form. Specifically:

    • Log Files & System Records

      • We keep server logs (timestamps, IP addresses, crash reports) for up to 90 days after deletion to investigate security incidents, fraudulent activities, or technical issues.

      • These logs are stripped of any direct personal identifiers once the 90-day window closes.

    • Legal or Tax Records

      • If required by law (e.g., to comply with a subpoena, court order, or tax audit), we may retain basic account metadata (account ID, creation date, last login) for up to 5 years.

      • Such data is stored securely and is not accessible to other users or used for marketing.

    • Aggregated/Anonymized Analytics

      • We may keep anonymous usage metrics (e.g., total number of daily active users, feature-usage counts) indefinitely — but these metrics cannot be traced back to individual users once your account is deleted.

    • Upon receiving your deletion request, we will send a confirmation email within 1 business day.

    • Once we verify your identity, we will permanently delete all personal data (as described above) within 7 business days.

    • You will receive a final email notification confirming that deletion is complete.

    IMPORTANT: Deleting your Thryve account is irreversible. Once your data is erased, it cannot be restored. If you sign up again later, you will start with a fresh Thryve profile.
